Coming soon, G-Code 101! I will be leading an introduction to G/M code in the very near future. We will be starting with a simple milling program in the form of an .NC file and breaking it down, line by line, to fully explain what is happening in the machine control to produce a quality part.
This study group will be starting in mid-May. We will be starting simply and grow over time in order to address more complex machining scenarios. Since the mill I currently run at work is a Haas VF9, the programs we will be dissecting will all be Haas friendly.
Since this stuff will be mostly based on stuff I stumble into at work, We will cover theory and technique for each NC code we cover. Hope to see you there!
